In case you have sometimes a CTD with AIGTC please run this command:
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\ngen.exe update /force
as admin and try again.
Unfortunately, it did not fix my .NET CTD issue
https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=34423.0
I've been getting CTD literally every P3D v5 session so I will try this and report back.

Thanks and fingers crossed!
seems to be a possbile combination of two bugs.. I am still investigating but I am getting closer :heehee:
I can confirm that running the update in command prompt was promising at first, near the end of my flight AIGTC crashed. On the bright side at least the program is consistant! ;D :heehee:
I found a new possible lead.. will try some stuff :stirpot:
Have all the faith in the world in you! ::happy::
getting closer and closer :stirpot: ::party2:: I was able to isolate the cause inside the SimConnect.DLL now I just need to make sure my App will catch it and handle it, so it will not end in a CTD ::fighting::
Whether it's coindidence, fluke or who knows what, I did a full install of the P3D v5.1 hotfix just released and I was able to finish a flight from CYYZ to KMSP without the AIGTC crashing.
seems you were lucky^^
I'll take what I am given in that case ;D
Would you like additional reports (Windows Event Log) for this issue (.NET CTD)? It sounded like you may be close to a possible resolution, so wasn't sure if you wanted new reports for this issue. I didn't see any log files in the application folder, so not sure if there is anything other than the event entry?
Thanks,
Bryan
potential HF1 attached:
Worked on my system two time for longer then 60min. I had to disable the fuel and flap options for now, and it seems to be the trick for now.
Just to make sure I understand you correctly: We should install this version and also disable those two options?
copy te new files in your current directory, no need to disable the options in AIGTC (Ui is still visible, but in the code it is disabled)
Done, unfortunately it keeps crashing for me
how long int the flight and a which airport?
Kai,
See Skype. Seems stable, but not injecting mainline American, Delta, United, Southwest there may be others I didn't notice.
ORD was filled with United Express and American Eagle aircraft and a smattering of International airlines and Spirt, Alaska ec.

saw it and posted my answer there (check your AIGFP settings in AIGTC: 0 Flightplans loaded, so no wonder nothing is spawning)

Ok, any guess how many AI plans were active?
Phew, that's hard to tell. It must have been quite a lot with KFLL and KMIA and more airports being close
I did 2 flights today using the HF that was posted.. one flight had no issues and one had a CTD. The first flight was KCLT/KGSO.. block time was 0:57. This flight had no issues and even let P3D run for close to 2 hours after landing with no issue. The second flight was KGSO/KDFW. This flight had a CTD just under 2 hours into the flight. I had my AI set to 100% for each flight.
Thanks,
Bryan
so it seems that the time till a CTD has increased, but it still happens >:( I will do some more testing - so far no report from LM on that :(
Update: Did a flight today KDFW/KPHL, this time got a CTD after about 40 minutes before I even was airborne (was taxiing to departure runway). I looked in the Log_TrafficController.txt file, as it seemed much larger than before (418MB). I saw quite a few lines that said "throw exception 22" and "unable to manage sector-crossing: sequence contains no elements".
Thanks,
Bryan
can you check with the latest version (0.3.3.2)?
Is there a conflict between the update and the hotfix you had provided? When I launch AIGTC, it does't find the new version 0.3.3.2
Max, try to download and install the newest version manually. Sometimes that helps:
https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=34286.0
Thanks, I did that but with the new version, TC seems to be unable to find any AIG-Flightplans and none of the respective airlines show up. Logs are attached. Did I mess up or forget something during setup?
ceck your settings in AIGTC ;) The log is indicating that you have not set OCI Path or fogot to enable AIGFP
Everything looks correct to me.
There isn't anywhere else to set anything, is there?
seems fine.. ::confused::
@Max please test the attached EXE
Traffic is still not showing up. From the log, it seems like files are found, but not interpreted as flightplans, right? ::confused::
yeah looks like it, give me 5 mins, I will add an extra logger
there you go
and here is the new log
why do I have the feeling you database is broken.. delete the ZIP in <AIGTC>\Resources and start again
if that is not helping use this and report back with the logs. This should give me the exact location in the code
Yeah, I guess that's getting close to the issue: There is no .zip in the folder, but just an AIGTT folder containing an msa.bin.
How is the zip created? By running AIM?
it should be downlaoded by AIGTC automatically... can it be that AIGTC is blocked in the firewall?
attached a new version that might hint why downloading fails
I specifically enabled it in the firewall, but still no online access. Is it because o f that path D:\Eigene Datein\Eigene Dokumente\Visual Studio 2013..? Because that definetely does not exist on my computer.
The missing connection is probably also why I could not update to 0.3.3.2 automatically
thats the part on my system. But i see what is missing... A DLL file that is required.
Please redownload the latest AIGTC version from here: https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=34286.0
replace all old files and try again
Done, but no change
looks like a build error in the latest 0.3 release, will repack everything from 0. You need to download the updaten manually and replace all old files then
Alright, injection is working again! :yeah:
I'll go back to observing the CTD behavior then
I've had the sim run for five hours now just sitting at KDFW and so far, no TC crash. I'm carefully optimistic but will do more testing with actual flying on the weekend.
Just tried a flight with 0.3.3.3 and had no TC traffic. This was first time this happened. I have attached the log* files from the TC folder. It was the first run after downloading this version.
Thanks,
Bryan

AIGTC is denied the access to update the databases. Where is your AIGTC.exe located?
My "AIGTech - Traffic Controller.exe" is in folder "E:\FlightSim\Utilities\AIG\TrafficController".
I just had a look at Norton logs, and it seems that two actions from TC were blocked.. even though I granted access to TC. Did something change in the last version, as I had not had this occur on previous ones? The Norton message was:
Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by AIGTech - Traffic Controller.exe
Suspicious process attempted deleting a file protected by Data Protector
E:\FlightSim\Utilities\AIG\TrafficController\Resources\Database\AIG_AirportDB.csv
E:\FlightSim\Utilities\AIG\TrafficController\Resources\Database\AIG_AircraftDB.csv
Thanks,
Bryan
had you any other instance of TC or any other AIG toll running?
Shouldn't have, I had downloaded the new version and then fired up P3D.. which opened TC. Will be doing another flight in a short while, so will see if the same behavior occurs.
In flight now. I didn't see any AIGFP aircraft, so likely same issue as last flight. Only saw one instance of TC in task manager. Didn't see any popups from Norton to grant any type of additional access, but will verify if see same block post flight. Will also check TC log file to see if same "access denied" message exists.
*** Update ***
Never saw any AIGFP traffic, still saw many object reference errors in the log. Did not see any "access denied" messages or additional messages in Norton logs.
Thanks,
Bryan
I just finished a flight from KDFW to EGLL and I can confirm that TC is a lot more stable now. It's just not quite perfect yet: Upon descent into EGLL, it crashed after I clicked the "-" button for zoom in the UI. After I restarted it, it seems to have crashed again soon after with the familiar clr.dll error. After another restart, it ran perfectly again until the end of the flight.
These are the event viewer logs for both crashes:

Alas, good news and bad news with .3.4.. I am getting AIGFP traffic once again.. however, still get CTD. Did a flight from KDFW/KMCO. Sim time was set to the 8AM hour.. real time was in 6PM hour. CTD occurred during taxi to departure runway. Was behind AA flight 792 DFW/PHL when it disappeared near departure end of 35L. This was when CTD occurred as all AIGFP traffic disappeared from Traffic Look utility. I attached the controller log file for the session.
Thanks,
Bryan
.3.5 seems to have improved injection, unfortunately the CTDs seem to be back for me. I had two on my way from EDDB to GCRR just now:

Are there any news about CTDs?
I just experienced something new with TC crashing while I was still at the departure airport (LFPG). Usually, it is at least stable until I'm in the air. Event Monitor shows the usual clr.dll crash.
no fix yet, and reproducing the CTD is getting very complicated at the moment ::mad::
Alright, thanks for the heads up.
I can imagine, I can't even really see a pattern for when CTDs occur on my own setup.
and the main problem now is that after my latest system reset and reinstall I do not get this CTD anymoe ???
We might have found the cuase of CTDs during the flight!
This is only an observation at the moment and we are unable to locate the exact cause of it!
The CTD happend when Little Navmap was running the same time as AIGTC. Running the Sim with only AIGTC and not LNM has not resultet in any CTD, as soon as LNM was started CTDs happend shortly after.
We will investigate more regarding this issue, but at the moment I have actual no idea what is going on, since it is running fine when LitteNavMap is not used.
Hm, I don't think that is the issue on my system. I have never used LNM.
Meanwhile, I have also installed P3D V5 side by side with V4.5 and will compare AIGTC behavior between both sims

any other tools running that are using SimConnect?
It's something like Little Navmap which causes the CTD-
I had CTD at every flight when I used it.
I didn't used it - 3 working testflights without CTD
I used it again - around 20 Minutes after Takeoff an CTD happens
Other tools running: Chaseplane, SuperTrafficBoard, ActiveSky, Navigraph simconnect (all kept running on the three Testflights)
This is maybe helpful for your own tests

Unfortunately, the crashes are happening in V5 (5.1 with HF 1) as well
I'm also getting crashes on my P3D upon startup. everything just freezes. using latest beta
we might have found a new solution to this - first tests are currently in progress :)
I just wanted to provide some feedback on 0.3.3.7: It has been very stable for me and so far I have not experienced any CTDs anymore in several long and short flights. Very nice!

this is quite a old hotfix, if you are running the latest AIGTC Version (0.5.X) you do already have this hotfix.
Running latest AIGTC 0.5.0.14 with MSFS, I often get this CTD. I do run Little Nav Map though, along with the MSFS Companion App if that helps.

I Figure out how to solve the CTD problem !!!!!!!.
Press right mouse button on the file "AIGTech - Traffic Controller.exe", select Properties, got to Compatibility tab, select compatibility for Windows 7, whatever version you have, select Windows 7.
After that, Crash to Desktop will not happen anymore !!
I hope Kaiii3 will put this info in the notes of the program because is very important and could help a lot of people!!
I've read this trick somewhere on the forum, and I want to share this info!!
::surprise:: ::urgent:: ::thumbsup:: :nuke:
sadly this is not the solution, it just "reduces" the potential crash and I have no clue why...
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with AIGTC CTD, whew. I completed a flight from TBPB to KFLL. At the start of the flight, I have traffic at TBPB with AIGTC running but toward settling down at KFLL, I have no traffic. It isn't until I about to close out MSFS which then crashed at exit, AIGTC too crashed to desktop before the sim itself.

I'm going to run a flight from KFLL to KCLT without running AIGTC and use the live AI traffic to see if it would make a different as I had some instants where the sim CTD as soon as I exited from it.

Ah yes, apparently look like I had the 'Center On User' unchecked. While almost doing a complete flight from KATL to KMIA, the sim crash to desktop as soon as I was about to land to KMIA.
However, AIG TC remain active and running and it didn't CTD yet I did not get any traffic in KATL nor KMIA. More testing to do...
as soon as MSFS CTDs, TC will not be closed automatically, you need to restart it with the Sim ;)

Kaiii3,
Yes, I've seem instant where MSFS CTD upon exit and AIG TC still running. But here is the kicker. I found that, after doing some testings, when I existed or closed out MSFS, TC no longer running. Plus, before I'd start TC first then MSFS and inject traffic after making flight plan. Now I start MSFS then TC but can't get traffic regardless where I make the flight from and to. It's seem to me TC automatically inject traffic after I start MSFS - before I'd have the options to inject traffic myself. Kaiii3 did you made some changes to TC????

I have AIGTC closing without error message regularly, every 10-20 minutes or so. The Event Viewer shows application faults with CLR.dll (same as everyone else posting here.)
The addons I am using alongside AIGTC are the FBW A320, Navigraph Charts, and Toolbar Pushback. Oh, and Navigraph Simlink running outside the sim so the moving map features of Navigraph Charts work.
I hope a solution can be found some day, it's really an amazing app that transforms MSFS.

unfortunately i tried with nothing in the community folder except the two AIG OCI folders and let MSFS recreate the content.xml, it still crashes periodically
Is this mainly an MSFS crash or does it happen in P3D too?
I just CTD'd in P3D with an AIGTC related .NET framework reason. .NET bugged out and crashed AIGTC which in turn crashed P3D.
