Title: [SOLVED] What in-sim traffic setting?
Post by: disco79stu on July 20, 2022, 01:19:20 PM
Hi,
so I read that I should put the in-sim traffic slider to 50%. What exactly is this for and why do I have to set this, when I can also set it inside AIGTC?
Thanks for a quick explanation of how those two correlate..

AIGTC injects traffic based on what percentage AIGTC is set to. The in-game traffic percentage doesn't affect AIGTC at all.

That's what I thought. Really strange that it was suggested somewhere.
Thanks for clearing that up!
Cheers

If the traffic was using BGL files instead of AIGFP, then the in-game slider would have had an effect, but since BGL files with traffic in them are not possible in MSFS, it's only a slider that regulates the default in-game AI. So to get the best use of AIG traffic in MSFS, it's recommended to have the in-game slider at 0% to eliminate the default AI.
