[CLOSED] SU14 Issues with Simconnect?

Hi,

Does anyone else have issues with AIGTC after SU14? Whenever I run it after loading somewhere like KIAH for example, I get this first log, then it crashes then I get the second log no matter how many times I start it again.

If it helps, if I try to start FSLTL injector it says: "Simconnect connection failed : ensure MSFS is open and loaded to or past the Main Menu, trying again in 30 seconds."

Has Asobo "fixed" shit again..?

I have the following running: FSUIPC (I think this uses it to do its thing, no?), ACARS from the VA (via FSUIPC), FS2Crew (not sure if direct connection or otherwise), Volanta (relevant?), PACX/FlyLAT (relevant?), SafeTaxi (not sure how this connects), Navmap (relevant?), AIGround and AIFlow by Clipper..

The ones not firing are AIGTC, FSLTL and AICompanion (this last one goes to not responding a lot but sort of works).

Worth mentioning this is not every sim session but it (just happened to be?) with the PMDG each time?

Not sure if any of this is relevant lol..

Have you identified any patterns?

@Kaiii3 - loaded fine with PMDG but in a smaller airport (payware Kos). And then it failed at DD Gdansk (maybe it has a lot of simobjects or something?). And loaded fine without pmdg at SPJC. This seems to be sporadic at least.

Not sure if this entire thread helps at all but here's hoping ..

It is hard to debug with the current logs since it seems random what makes it even harder to investigate.

Just that if AIG doesnt work, due to Simconnect error, FSLTL doesnt aswell. In some rare occations, FSLTL does actually work while AIG doesnt, but thats rare.
I had the problem alot a few months ago, but then it got alot better. Now in SU14, and SU14 Beta it is back.

try to repair your Simulator as a first step

Yes. If you have bought via Steam, that's where you do it. But..

It will make a complete reinstall of the game. So better do it a day you have something going on, so it can just run.

Will keep it like this for the time being. A few röstats of the sim sounds less painful than a re-install

Yeah. Christmas is coming up. There'll probably a few days, where you can leave the PC running and downloading the game again.

I have the exact same problem at KIAH.  I wonder if it's something specifically related to KIAH?  I use the the FSDT scenery for KIAH, do you?
