So I am now questioning the purpose of TC if we as users can't even get it to stay on during a flight. For some reason after this last update, the program now shuts off about three times a flight. And I average 1.5-3 hour flights. Come on now y'all. Somebody has to know SOMETHING. And the downside is, whenever I loose TC I can always tell in my sim because more than half of my traffic goes with it. So why did AIG even release this program if it doesn't work? As I am typing this I am restarting the program believe it or not for the third time during my flight which is now normal for me.

So why did AIG even release this program if it doesn't work?

Well it does work, a TC crash is very rare here. Yesterday an 11hr + flight at 100% traffic with all available plans and aircraft loaded and no issues at all.

You'll see posted elsewhere that Kai has discovered a possible issue in simconnect that is outside of their resolve.

AIM/TC are alpha stage programs so bugs are expected. If you are not willing to deal with issues, then you should uninstall it until issues are worked out.

Without posting the logs files associated with the program (located in the file folder the program resides in) the programmer cannont assist you,or attempt to make a fix if required.

I am having the same issue today. Sometimes TC remains available for 100% of a flight, sometimes I get multiple crashes. Event Viewer info below:

Dear even though I love the program and I think that this is a success, if it is true that I am disconnected many times and there was an occasion that I had a CTD, like that of the partner. I have observed that when it is connected to the Sim (FS2020) an interruption of the sound is noticed, precisely there the CTD occurred although it was only this. It is also true that the injection of traffic from the different Cias. I for example fly in Spain and logically I have downloaded all the Spanish Air Companies, Iberia is the flag company by number of planes, but where I find them is LEMD in LEIB and LEPA eg what abounds is Vuelins and Raynair and not a single Iberia plane.
I hope they can resolve the Traffic issues so that we can all enjoy this great program.

Well today I made a one-hour flight where I had no problem, AIGTraffic was working without any problem, my Sim is the FS2020, I made two changes and the truth is I don't know which of them or if they both had something to do with that I don't know disconnect.
1) Traffic creates two files in the community path and within the community, which are "$ PC $" and the CVT, delete both before the flight while lowering the OC to the micro, since I have observed that some programs carry bad the OC. The truth is that the Traffic was connected all the time.
I comment on it in case those who have problems, try to see how it is.

Warning, it's a memory dump so 1.7GB file size.  My experience since the 0.5.0.19 update is the same as others.  I've only tested with P3D, not MSFS yet.

Do you have a link to the prior version of AI Traffic Controller?  That version was very solid for me in P3D.

crash dumps are already send to LM and ASOBo for further investigation. Since it is inside the SimConnect DLL I am currently more or less out of options, sadly no crash dump is showning at which part of AIGTC the SImConnect issue has been raised...
