[CLOSED] Traffic Controller crashes midflight

The last couple of days I have the repeating problem that Traffic Controller will start up just fine, show injected planes at the apron of my departure airport, but then halfway through the flight it crahes.
No warnings, no problems in the sim itself (I can finish my flight just fine) but the Traffic Controller program just crashes completely and disappears from both my Desktop and Task Manager.
Is there any way to find out what causes these crashes?  Could it be like one 'incompatible' livery or something like that?

crash is caused by something inside SimConnect, ASOBO is investigating
