Hi,

Recently I had to re-install Prepar3d due to a faulty drive. However, this time I'm running into a crashing issue and the only crash that is visible in Event Viewer is from Traffic Controller. I honestly don't know if this might be related, but I still want to ensure that it isn't by asking here if anyone knows what the issue in question might entail.

It seems to be related to ".NET Framework". The process seems to be ended due to an internal fault. The error code I've got is; 80131506. I will also post the full crash below. My apologies already for the Dutch report.

do you have a crash-dump file that you can attach?

I've modified my Windows settings, but there's no new crash dump.

I would like to mention that there multiple posts on forums about an issue with .NET in the 22H2 update of Windows 11.

without crash-dumpo it is hard to tell what is causing this ctd..

After digging around Windows and the internet to find the crash dumps I've found them. There's one instance where only AIG Traffic crashed and the is a set of dumps. One from P3D itself and one from AIG Traffic.

FYI: I'm running the beta version traffic manager.

I will do another test flight tonight and I will also post the dump if an error occurs again.

It looks like a windows .net issue rather than traffic controller problem. The traffic controller will freeze occasionally when looking at its map with a web browser open in background or the sim is in the background. It always works to avoid the crash and traffic controller to recover from freeze by quickly closing the browser when this happens if that is the case or switching to the sim window. It seems windows may have problem managing apps running in background. Traffic controller crash can be significantly minimized by not running a browser or putting p3d in background as well as unchecking traffic controller affinity from main p3d core is my experience.

Another crash last night. I'm seeing a pattern right now. The sim & TM always crash when the plane is paused at top of descent.
