[SOLVED] Cannot enable AIGAIM AI TRAFFIC in MSFS 2024

Hey guys,

I am on MSFS2024 version 1.3.19.0, and everytime I try to enable the AIGAIM AI TRAFFIC, I get stuck at 97%.

What do you need from me?

Also, another thing, even though I have AIG in my community folder, I always need to enable the widget. Why? Anyway, now it doesn't matter, cause now I am stuck at 97%.

Quite simple. You are using the 2020 traffic in 2024.

We have an updated AIG Manager that will install update your traffic to 2024 standards. But it is important to follow the instructions very carefully:

I am familiar with this thread, and I have done those steps. AIGTM used to work, but now it doesn't. Why do you assume I am using the 2020 version?

I managed to see errors in the dev mode console when enabling AIGAIM. Remember this it the latest SU1 version of MSFS2024.

Because it says so in the background. If you see there is a big MSFS2020 logo with "AIGOCI AI TRAFFIC". Then I would assume that you used the 2020 traffic directly into 2024.

I just did the steps again, and it still says 2020 in the background. I don't think your assumption is right. Does it say 2024 for you?

Personally I don't use 2024 ATM. I do have it installed, but for now I'm back in 2020, as it's simply more stable for me.

The time I did use AIG in 2024, I didn't even enabled it. It was automatically enabled and then I just used AIG Traffic Controller to inject the traffic.

Well, like I said, I just redid the 2024 setup again, and it still shows the 2020 in the title. So, I don't think this is the issue.

Bug on who? AIG or MSFS? I reached out to MSFS and they said it is on AIG.

When I installed AIG into 2024 I didn't enabled it at all. It worked straight out of the box when I ran AIGTC. Never did the same in 2020 either. And there it worked fine too without having to be enabled.

I'm almost 100% sure that if you have things on the community folder, you don't need to activate them at all to make them work. Than includes sceneries, planes and so on.

My install of AIG in FS2024 does not say "FS2020" beside it, mine says "Community". No need to enable any part of AIG from within the sim, it automatically works. I am not using SU1.

we have internal testers on SU1Beta that have not reported any issues..

Remove OCI from the community directory (copy a backup to some other location)
Setup OCI in AIM
Start MSFS24
Does it show as enabled?
