[SOLVED] Cannot enable AIGAIM AI TRAFFIC in MSFS 2024

Try to run AIG Traffic Controller and see if the AI appears.

That is the only way to see if it actually finds the folder and inject it into the sim. And if it does, then it might not need to be enabled.

I am not using AIG for traffic. I am using it for model matching on vatsim.

So, these are the errors I am seeing in the MSFS2024 Console:

Error Type #1:
[FuelSystem] Could not create Pump #9 of type Electrical (MainTank3PumpFwd) as the plane's Electrical System doesn't have a circuit at Index 7. Ignoring.
   Aircraft: AIGAIM_Cargolux Boeing 747-400ERF - LX-ECV SeaLife Trust

Error Type #2:
[FuelSystem] Could not match Fuel defined Engine #3 (RightEngine) to any of plane's engine. Id is likely wrong. Ignoring.
   Aircraft: AIGAIM_Jackson Jet Center Pilatus PC-12 - N873PC
[FuelSystem] Could not match Fuel defined Engine #3 (RightEngine) to any of plane's engine. Id is likely wrong. Ignoring.
   Aircraft: AIGAIM_United Aviate Academy Cirrus SR22 - N838EF
[FuelSystem] Could not match Fuel defined Engine #3 (RightEngine) to any of plane's engine. Id is likely wrong. Ignoring.
Aircraft: AIGAIM_Morningstar Air Express Cessna 208B Super Cargomaster

Error Type #3:

But MSFS2024 is not ignoring, and then the enabling of AIGAIM Traffic hangs.

The errors in the console are related to the cfg files of the AI models, those have nothing todo with the functionality of AIGTC injected airplanes

Fair enough.

How can I resolve my issue?  I am not able to get AIG Traffic to load on Vatsim Model Matching.

johanfrc

The reason why I asked if you could try using AIM Traffic Controller was to see if you need to enable it or not.

If it shows up in the sim, without being enabled, the initial issue with the 97% is not an issue anymore and we can continue onwards.

For model matching you need some programs from Vatsim. I'm personally not using Vatsim at all, so I have no idea what those programs are called. I know there are some model matching files on Flightsim.to that will make the model matching easier to get working, so that might be something to look at:

I disagree again.  If the module isn't enabled in MSFS2024, then the simobjects cannot be loaded into the sim, even if vpilot has a .vrm file.  I insist, and believe, that the AIGAIM Traffic module must be enabled.  I am unable to enable it.  I suspect it has to do with all those errors I am seeing in the dev mode console.

That's why I ask if you just once can try to use AIGTC. Because if it won't inject the traffic or AI, then we can begin to look at why. And that could among other things, be that AIG needs to be enabled. But if the traffic shows up, then AIG don't need to be enabled.

What still makes it strange is that so many have not had to manually enable it in the sim, and it just works when they run AIGTC. But somehow you have to enable it. Why that difference?

And why do your sim shows the 2020 text and others don't do that. That's also one of the things I'm very curious about what is the difference there.

So you want me to install and run AIGTC with AIGTM and see if the models load up?

Before SU1, AIGTM was working and enabled without the need to enable it.  The 2020 was always there in 2024 for me.

Fixed. I completely removed / uninstalled MSFS2024 and deleted my whole Community folder.  I then proceeded to reinstall MSFS2024 from scratch, and copied my OCI folder from 2020 into 2024 Community folder and reset my simobjects in AIGAIM. AIGAIM is enabled, and I don't need to enable it anymore. Probably, one of the SU1 updates broke it.

 :yeah:

Best news today! Congrats on getting it to work!

Yeah. 2024 has many issues that makes some strange things. Won't be surprised if it was one of the betas, as they often have messed up a lot of stuff in those back in 2020. Especially because the patch notes often don't say everything that have changed. We have had things for AI  working great (including the betas for a SU) and then with the final release of the SU it breaks. And it's not mentioned at all that they have been doing anything in that area of the game. So sometimes it seems like they are doing something in one area of the game, but it breaks something in another and seemingly totally unrelated.
